We Wax Lyrical About ‘Time For T’ and Their New Release ‘Wax’

How would you like your latest FFW feature? With a title that’s topped with more cheese than a margherita pizza with additional cheese? Then look no further! However, our expert comedy aside, we review our favourite track this week from our Unearthed Playlist by Time For T titled ‘Wax’.
Having risen from the creative hotspot Brighton via Portugal, Switzerland and all corners of England, Time For T reflect their travels similarly to their sound that borders on multi-cultural genres including afropunk, indie, folk and rock & roll. This is the sort of music that makes you appreciate British summertime, just that this song and its longevity far surpass something as short lived as the summer.

The track is a neatly put together package with vocals that provide energy in all the right places, reverberant guitars that add further to the ambience and the classical sound of an organ padding out an additional flavour to a sound pallet anyone can get stuck into. Making for feel good vibes flowing throughout, it undoubtedly means making a tactical re-shuffle of your playlist to place these guys firmly amongst your favourites.
Having concluded the recording of their debut full-length album ‘Hoping Something Anything’ in London, it is set to be released in September 2017. Two singles from the upcoming album have been released independently thus far with ‘Tom Tom’ being played on BBC Radio 1 and ‘Rescue Plane’ reaching Number 1 in the Spotify UK Viral Charts as well as getting airplay across Portugal, England, USA and Germany.
It’s fair to say we are fans of ‘Wax’ and we predict this to fill many playlists over summer and build on the momentum it so rightly deserves. So feel free to check out Time For T on our Unearthed Playlist as well as their music video to accompany ‘Wax’ by following the link below.
