Videocean release latest track titled ‘Fruitless Fever’

This week for Feels Fresh Weekly we had the chance to highlight more new music from our Unearthed Playlist courtesy of a quartet named Videocean. The track is their first release and is titled ‘Fruitless Fever’.
Born in a small back room in Peckham, Videocean are a picture of creative uniqueness. Between them, they have compiled a sound which has been gained through touring and recording with other artists, each member of the quartet is a compelling piece to the jigsaw.

The group add a variety of character to Fruitless Fever through layers of reverberant vocals that have been woven into the track with a precision often found amongst products with a sense of purpose and identity. And it is that idea of identity which is explored and found throughout Fruitless Fever with the track asking questions relating to subjects such as the future and life itself.

Teaming up with the ever reliable Squarehead Studios (Get Inuit, Story Books, Healyum), the track has a spellbinding quality and an added polish so often heard throughout the productions completed at Squarehead and Fruitless Fever is no exception. The guitar, strings, synth and accompanying instruments settle you into the conversation being had right the way through the track. The production seemlesly moulds around the subject matter and offers a final product that most established artists would be proud to deliver, let alone an up and coming band.

We feel there are many more great tracks to come from Videocean, and we can’t help but ask, ‘Are we the only ones?’.
