Bicurious Launch

Dublin/Leipzig-based rock duo Bicurious have launched a crowdfunding campaign to complete the production of their second album. The band, who formed in 2016, released their excellent debut “(re)constructed” in 2021 which set the post metal scene alight, earning them appearances at ArcTanGent and The Great Escape.

The fundraiser, which takes place for the next 60 days on the band’s website www.bicuriousbandofficial.com, aims to raise funds for the mixing, mastering and marketing of the record.

A number of perks are available to claim in return for donations, ranging from exclusive merch bundles, signed goodies, a live performance in your back garden, and more.

Taran (guitar, vocals) comments: “We’re incredibly excited about this album. It’s new sonic territory for us, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it. Unfortunately, being a DIY band, it’s not always easy to secure funds for recording, mixing and all the rest. We want to give this album the best chance of getting heard, which is why we’re calling upon our fans, friends and families to help out in any way they can. No amount is too small, and any help at all will go a long way. Our fanbase has been so incredible for us since we started this band, and we’re asking for their help once again. Let’s do this together!”

Over the past 15 months, Bicurious have been working on this new record. Between pre-production and recording, the band, along with their producer Tom Peters (Alpha Male Tea PartyLakesVennart), have put this album together across three countries and four recording studios. They’re now close to the finish line, and have major touring plans to be announced later this year.
