CHVRCHES AIM FOR BIGGER STADIUM HEIGHTS ON NEW SINGLE 'GET OUT'

Electronic pop band CHVRCHES have been brilliant at crafting catchy pop bangers, which were best displayed on tracks like ‘The Mother We Share.’ What the band are brilliant at is combining warm, soaring vocals with Depeche Mode era synths, adding a fresh modern twist that has increased their fanbase and won them support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, NME, and Pitchfork. This week, they released a new track, ‘Get Out’, which was produced by Grammy award winning Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sia). The track is taken from their forthcoming third album.
The effect that Kurstin has had on the band fits like a glove, giving way to a shiny, polished sound. ‘Get Out’ is stunning and pulls you in on the first listen. As soon as the opening synth and Lauren Mayberry’s reverberated vocals enter the forefront, you’re hooked; and that’s only the warm up to the chorus.

Although we’re still early on in the year, the chorus of “Get out, get out, get get get out” is as catchy as the common cold. It’s anthemic, while the production just ramps it up to colossal levels. It brings the bands’ vision together beautifully, and you can feel the positive chemistry in the track. The creative synths are balanced superbly with the distorted drums, bringing a raw but endearing charm.
‘Get Out’ is a strong return to form for CHVRCHES, and a track that is well worth your time.
