DEADLY CIRCUS FIRE BLEND HARD HITTING PROGRESSIVE RIFFS WITH MELODIC VOCALS ON NEW TRACK ‘GHOST’
Deadly Circus Fire mix progressive riffs with brutal breakdowns and atmospheric, melodic vocals. Since their formation in 2009, they’ve gained acclaim from the likes of Metal Hammer and have toured with Skindred and Crossfaith. Earlier this year, founding member Adam Grant left the band and was replaced with David Pear. The first track that showcased Pear’s distinctive vocal was recent single ‘Shinigami Fall.’ ‘Ghost’ builds on this progression with a meaty riff and lyrics questioning the meaning of forgiveness.
The track contains soaring vocals alongside some mind-blowingly heavy instrumentation. The guitars benefit from some colossal production, while the interplay with the lead guitars and Pear’s falsetto in the chorus work superbly together, creating a lush soundscape. It is topped off with a crushing breakdown and scatting reminiscent of Korn’s Jonathan Davis, separating them from their contemporaries to create a genre bending sound. Listening to ‘Ghost’, you get a clear idea of the strong chemistry between the band, and this new chapter is going to take them to bigger things.
Deadly Circus Fire have announced a headline tour across the UK, so you can catch them in February and embark on their journey.
