'DOLLS' Deliver Another Heavy Hitter With 'Armchair Psychiatrist'

DOLLS,
primarily known for their packed out diaries and relentless gigging in and around London, have released a new single titled ‘Armchair Psychiatrist‘. The duo (championed by John Kenedy on Radio X and BBC Introducing in Essex) consists of grunge-punk rockers Jade (guitar and vocals) and Bel (drums and vocals) who have continued their ascendancy and cemented their profile as one of the best up and coming bands that the scene currently has to offer with the release of their latest track .

‘Armchair Psychiatrist‘ is one of the best releases yet from DOLLS. With this release, they prove their ability to be both experimental and on the pulse of what listeners need with a garage-pop anthem which is as catchy as the common cold. Fortunately, unlike the common cold, this is a track you will welcome into your system and be thankful that you caught as it was passing through. Fuelled by a guitar riff that sets the pace, you are quickly introduced to elements that drive it deep into the depths of your musical mind with a duel-vocal, bouncing effortlessly between both Jade and Bel. This is also the first time that the band have worked with producer Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, GrindermanThe Horrors, The Wytches and Du Blonde) with this partnership between himself and the band creating a masterpiece for all to appreciate.

Armchair Psychiatrist‘ has been released via upcoming DIY label Roadkill Records on limited edition cassette. With the b-side featuring a cover of The Flaming Lips‘ “She Don’t Use Jelly“.
