Final wave of Handmade Festival acts Announced
Handmade Festival has confirmed its final wave of bands and its first ever music industry conference. The announcement contains some of the biggest up and coming names in the indie and rock scenes such as The Wytches, Black Peaks, Genghar, and Kamikaze Girls.
Following on from the announcement of headliners Circa Waves and Drenge as the main headliners, the festival is partnering with PPL and PRS for Music to host their second stage, confirming its reputation as one of the most exciting independent festivals on the circuit.
Also joining the already stellar line-up are Low Island, Geowulf, Art School Girlfriend, Fling, Superego, Traps, and JSP & Timmas.
For the first time, the multi venue festival, which has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2013, will also include The Handmade Conference. Taking place on the Friday before the festival, Handmade will be working with some of their partners for a programme of events and talks to help young people get a closer look inside the music industry.
2018 is set to be Handmade’s biggest year yet, as the festival will fill all of the venues at O2 Academy Leicester, in addition to spaces at Leicester University Students Union and Attenborough Arts Centre.
This years’ Handmade Festival event takes place on the 5th – 6th May 2018, and weekend tickets are available to purchase here.
