Track Review

Run Logan Run Release 'Death Is Elsewhere'.

Run Logan Run is made up of duo Andrew Neil Hayes (Saxophones / FX) and Dan Johnson (Drum Kit / Percussion) who pride themselves in exuding and embodying jazz. The duo can be heard gifting their musical prowess through improvisation, spiritual jazz and heavier experimental music.
The latest track ‘Death Is Elsewhere’ contains tribal drums and a haunting saxophone performance to match. We are big fans of arrangement and instrumentation and the track all but provides that. Stripped of vocals and allowing the production to build to a peak of pleasurable performance, as well as conveying a uniqueness that feels well placed.

The duo has had their video premiered on Clash and are sure to continue attracting the attention of the best and brightest in the industry. With their album ‘The Delicate Balance of Terror’ also being announced the premiere and attention are both timely and deserved.
Pioneers are the ones who often travel off of the beaten track and dance to the sound of their own drum, something that this duo excel at, whilst making you dance to their tune in the process. And with live dates coming up, what’s your excuse for not being apart of the emerging madness that Run Logan Run continue to develop?
