Track Review: Fader // The Subtheory
The Subtheory is the stage name of Andy Hill. Hill has collaborated with artists including Kellindo and Half Decent. He has explored many genres and creates music to move people, whether it be their feet, heart or minds. He has taken the synthwave world by storm over the last few years, but his new song ‘Fader’ adds a rock influence.

The song is a collaboration with guitarist Sam Brox, who adds massive power chords to Hill’s 80s style production. This could be a reference towards Eddie Van Halen, who is one of Brox’s biggest influences I think it works very well in the song because it adds a layer of aggression and bite.
‘Fader’ is a great song because all the sounds are mixed together perfectly which creates an enthralling soundscape.
