Track Review: Memories // Saving Forever

Saving Forever incorporate a range of diverse influences, including Prince, Queen, and Fall Out Boy. Their combination of thunderous production and huge guitars demonstrate their ambition.

I found it awesome to discover that their new song, ‘Memories’, was produced by Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump. The track contains some seriously anthemic vibes which stand out, the gloriousharmonies shine through, and I think the chorus is very memorable and willencourage repeat listens.

The band say that ‘Memories’ is about “doing things that you’re not supposed to be doing and going a bit crazy. We hope the song functions as a reminder to capture the moments when you’re in them and always live in the now.”

The video to the song gives off this carefree vibe and attitude, with the band playing in a bunch of awesome looking rooms; one room represents a colourful party, bringing out a fun experience, while during the chorus we see the shots change to a beautiful white room. Both settings have their own character and fit the song perfectly.

I’m sure that  ‘Memories’ will help Saving Forever reach a brand new audience. Its production and lyrics will strike a chord with plenty of people, resulting in a memorable experience.
