Track Review: Royal // Marlowe

Marlowe are back with a brand new song, ‘Royal’. This hip hop banger has an upbeat sample which is a mood booster in every sense of the word. The beat is incredibly summery and makes your head bop. The brass section is incredible because when you have had a hard day at work, you hear it and think, “ my day is going to get better from here.” It takes influence from early 90s hip hop like A Tribe Called Quest, with extremely tight production. Everything is so clean. 

I absolutely love Solemn Bingem’s flow because it’s so smooth and fits incredibly well with this song. It’s an absolute banger and a wonderful find. I think this will capture the attention of hip-hop heads everywhere.
