Track Review: Space Mountain // Kool Keith

Kool Keith has had a long career. He started in the 80s, and I have heard his name around before. He’s done songs with Dr Dooom as well, which is wild. I didn’t know he was in the. Ultramagnetic MC’s too! Critical Beatdown has some huge songs.

He has a new song out now which is called “Space Mountain” which is very chilled out and spacey. The production is full of eerie sounds which combine with the relaxing rap drawl. It’s not often a song makes you want to float quite like this one. Everything is mixed cleanly, so the vocals have space to breathe.

This track was a surprising but awesome find. It conveys the relaxing atmosphere, transporting the listener to Space Mountain.
