Track Review: Where the Roads Don’t Go // Thrillhouse

Thrillhouse are a band that seem incapable of releasing a bad song. Everything they release draws on synthpop and tropical flavoured indie pop. It is always a pleasure hearing anything new that they bring out. This latest tune is coming out on Friday 19th March and it’s called ‘Where the Roads Don’t Go.’ It will be interesting to see how they build on their sound because they try new things with every song.

The track’s production is easily the best that I’ve heard because it’s full of spaced-out synths and arpeggiated leads. These create a wonderful atmosphere because they mesh well with the guitars. The vocal delivery of the song is poetic and the positive lyrics tell a story that reflects how a lot of people are feeling. “Is it alright / to be living in someone else’s dream? / Is it alright / to be watching from afar?

Thrillhouse have released yet another masterpiece, and I cannot wait what they’ve got in store for us in the future.
