Track Review

Weekend Recovery Ask 'Why Don't You Love Me?' With Latest Track.

Weekend Recovery are a 4 piece rock/pop band made up of Lorin (Vocals/Guitar), Owen (Lead Guitar), Josh (Bass) and Artur (Drums) who have already created quite the buzz. Only formed last year, Weekend Recovery have already been signed to Headcheck Records (Maid of Ace, Bleach, Turbulent Hearts). The band have gone on to secure the support of BBC Kent Introducing and NME Presents Evening as well as headlining at the famous Alley Cat and playing at The O2 Academy.

The latest track from the band, titled ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’  presents Weekend Recovery to the audience with a roaring wave of volume which comes crashing into the inside of your mind with catchy vocals and riffs that burn into the very fabric of your being. By the time we finished listening to ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’ we ended up humming the hook and applauded the guitar solo, which we always say is much-needed in modern music.

We would say that the pressure should be on for the band with them being signed to Headcheck Records and having such prestigious achievements behind them for up an up-and-coming band. But any sign of this pressure is swept away and evidently not shown by the fantastic musicianship and product that has been produced with ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’.
